Basketball Recap: Gordon Lee Takes a Loss

Gordon Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the LaFayette Ramblers an easy 57-34 victory. The Trojans lost against the Ramblers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 56-55 score last time.

Gordon Lee's record is now 5-9. As for LaFayette, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gordon Lee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chattooga at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. LaFayette will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against North Sand Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
