Basketball Recap: Galt Comes Up Short

Galt lost against Rosemont back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Galt Warriors came up short against the Rosemont Wolverines, falling 62-41. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

Ja'Monte Cole was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 13 on his way to 16 points along with eight assists and five boards for Rosemont. Cole is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Robert Tabarez was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 10 points and three steals.

Galt is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14. As for Rosemont, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-7.

Galt has already played their next matchup, a 76-33 defeat against Bradshaw Christian on the 10th. As for Rosemont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-49 win against El Dorado on the 10th.
