Football Game Preview: Richland Rams vs. Bellefonte Raiders + How To Watch

The Richland Rams will face off against the Bellefonte Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Richland's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three games.

Richland's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Greater Johnstown to the tune of 36-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Regan, who threw for 182 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Regan is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Arnold Mugerwa was Regan's top target, picking up 85 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Bellefonte and Philipsburg-Osceola had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Raiders walked away with a 24-15 win over the Mountaineers on Friday. That nine point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Bellefonte's win came from a few key players Richland will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Quinn Park, who rushed for 75 yards and one score, and also threw for 79 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. Those 75 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaven Smith-kirk, who rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown.

Richland's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Bellefonte, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Richland against Bellefonte when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-14 victory. In that contest, the Rams amassed a halftime lead of 27-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
