Football Recap: Northeast Metro RVT Skates Past Malden with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast Metro RVT). They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over the Malden Golden Tornados. With the Knights ahead 28-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Ryan Beede was his usual excellent self, rushing for 47 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (118.1). Another player making a difference was Lucas De Oliveira, who rushed for 70 yards and one TD.

The win (which was Northeast Metro RVT's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Malden, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Northeast Metro RVT will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Medford at 10:30 a.m. on October 11. As for Malden, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lynn Classical at 5:00 p.m. on October 4.
