Soccer Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lamar Texans, falling 7-0. Westside haven't had much luck with Lamar recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lamar, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Bellaire on the 22nd. As for Lamar, they have also already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Wisdom on the 22nd.
