Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was the 83-51 winner over Kingman Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The River Valley Dust Devils fell to the Kingman Academy Tigers 52-47.

River Valley now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Kingman Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Adelanto at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Adelanto knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully River Valley likes a good challenge. Kingman Academy will take on Wickenburg in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
