Caledonia and Lafayette squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Caledonia had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Commodores. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Caledonia ultimately came up short, they really made Lafayette work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 26-24.

Caledonia's defeat dropped their record down to 21-13-2. As for Lafayette, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-19.

Caledonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lafayette, they will square off against Sumrall at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
