Volleyball Recap: Pompano Beach Takes a Loss

Pompano Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stoneman Douglas Eagles. If the Golden Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 13-25, 25-18.

Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Stoneman Douglas, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Pompano Beach will take on Fort Lauderdale at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Stoneman Douglas, they will face off against Coral Springs Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
