Preview: La Quinta vs. Loara
La Quinta has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on Loara at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
La Quinta has not won a game since December 21, 2023, a trend which continued on Friday. La Quinta and Los Amigos played to a 1-1 draw, good for one point each.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Loara had to settle for a 2-1 loss against Bolsa Grande on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Loara in their matchups with Bolsa Grande: they've now lost four in a row.
With that draw, La Quinta's record moves to 4-5-2. As for Loara, they bumped their record down to 3-13-1 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
La Quinta was able to grind out a solid victory over Loara when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Quinta since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
