Volleyball Recap: North Stokes Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy last Thursday, North Stokes came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Bishop McGuinness Villains on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Villains: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-12.

Bishop McGuinness can attribute much of their success to Natalie Ma, who had 16 digs and one assist. Annabelle Pirkl also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

North Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

North Stokes has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Bethany Community on the 4th. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against High Point Christian Academy on the 4th.
