Basketball Recap: Grand Haven Takes a Loss

Grand Haven was the 56-44 winner over East Kentwood when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Grand Haven Buccaneers fell 87-78 to the East Kentwood Falcons on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (62), the Buccaneers still had to take the loss.

Grand Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for East Kentwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Grand Haven has already played their next match, a 52-50 win against Holt on the 22nd. As for East Kentwood, they will square off against Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
