Basketball Recap: Millville Comes Up Short

Millville lost against Wildwood Catholic back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Millville Thunderbolts took a blow against the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders, falling 59-28. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbolts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Crusaders are ranked 100th).

Millville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Wildwood Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Millville has already played their next game (against Vineland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wildwood Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-52 victory against Ocean City on the 23rd.
