Wellington had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 66-48 win over the Mulvane Wildcats. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

When it comes to explaining why Mulvane lost, don't look at Manny Myers. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-11 en route to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Canon Lazier, who posted 11 points and five boards.

Wellington pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. As for Mulvane, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Wellington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-47 loss against Augusta on the 11th. As for Mulvane, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-33 defeat against Andale on the 11th.
