Conant kept a clean sheet against Hersey on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies, sneaking past 1-0. The victory was all the more spectacular given Conant's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Hersey are ranked 29th).

Conant's one-goal win came courtesy of Denys Lichner, which was the first he's scored this season.
