Basketball Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

If Foothill was riding high fresh off their 81-57 takedown of Calvary Baptist on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodrow Wilson Bruins on Monday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.

Foothill now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Woodrow Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Foothill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against King at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will take on Woodbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
