Soccer Recap: Belle Chasse Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thomas Jefferson last Monday, Belle Chasse came back down to earth. The Belle Chasse Cardinals came up short against the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The Cardinals were probably out for revenge after losing 1-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Belle Chasse's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Belle Chasse duke it out with the Edna Karr at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy has already played their next matchup (against L.W. Higgins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
