If Paden City wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Trinity Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Austin Porta. The Trinity Christian Warriors simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Paden City Wildcats 73-25 thanks to Porta, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 41 points and three steals. The match was his sixth in a row with at least 21 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Mousadis, who went 7-for-12 en route to 15 points and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage.

The victory made it two in a row for Trinity Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Paden City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will take on Magnolia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Magnolia will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Paden City, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hundred at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hundred's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matchups.
