Riverside posted their closest win since December 20, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shoshoni Wranglers, sneaking past 50-47. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Wranglers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 47-42 loss.

Several Wranglers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaylor McConnaughey, who posted five points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Mason, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 11 points and six boards.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Shoshoni, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will welcome Meeteetse at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shoshoni, they will challenge Kemmerer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shoshoni is facing Kemmerer at the right time seeing as Kemmerer is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
