Soccer Game Preview: James Island vs. Myrtle Beach

The James Island Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Myrtle Beach took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on James Island, who comes in off a win.

James Island will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Saturday, then bounced right back against Summerville on Sunday. James Island blew past Summerville 4-0. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach didn't have quite enough to beat Berkeley on Sunday and fell 2-1. The loss was the Seahawks' first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Tia Boatwright, who's now up to three this season.

James Island now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.
