Soccer Game Preview: East Central vs. George County

East Central hasn't had much luck against George County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Hornets will challenge the Rebels at 5:30 p.m. George County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East Central, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, East Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Picayune, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for East Central.

Meanwhile, George County fell victim to Pascagoula and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

East Central now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for George County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

East Central beat George County 2-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
