Baseball Recap: Christopher Gets the Win

While Christopher's win against Santa Teresa wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars skirted past the Saints 2-1. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Matthew Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

At the plate, Christopher secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Sam Guenther, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Guenther has posted since back in March.

Christopher's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Santa Teresa, they dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Christopher nor the Saints have any future games scheduled.
