Softball Recap: South Summit Find Success

South Summit won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 12-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Sara Duke was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Kelbee Pearce was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

South Summit's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Mountain View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

South Summit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against American Leadership Academy on the 24th. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Timpanogos on the 26th.
