Basketball Recap: Minatare Takes a Loss

Minatare was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-30 loss at the hands of the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 64-25 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Minatare's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cody-Kilgore, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Coming up, Minatare will challenge Creek Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cody-Kilgore, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bennett County at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
