It was a proper cat-fight when Giles County faced off against Marshall County on Tuesday. The Bobcats walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-8 last Monday.

Giles County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Marshall County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Giles County will face off against Tullahoma at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshall County, they will venture away from home to challenge Central Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Magnet has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.81 runs per game on average), something Marshall County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
