Basketball Recap: Juanita Takes a Loss

Juanita lost against Interlake back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Juanita Ravens took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Interlake Saints. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Interlake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Clark Tonnon, who went 6 for 15 to rack up 18 points. Tonnon continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Brady Didrickson was another key player, putting up eight points and 14 rebounds.

Juanita's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Interlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Juanita wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 88-52 loss against North Creek on the 7th. As for Interlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-44 defeat against Mercer Island on the 8th.
