New Covenant Academy came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Liberty, but Jordyn Tune wouldn't allow it. The Eagles skirted past the Warriors 2-1 for which the team can thank Tune, who had three digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

New Covenant Academy's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Jenna Jackson and Myah Vinson. Jackson had 12 digs, while Vinson had six digs and two aces.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 10-4-3. As for New Covenant Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-3-3.

Liberty has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Clever on the 27th. As for New Covenant Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Aurora on the 29th.
