Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caledonia). Their defense stepped up to hand the Louisville Wildcats a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Caledonia's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Louisville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caledonia will face off against Amory at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Louisville, they will be home for the holidays to greet Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
