Basketball Game Preview: Batavia Blue Devils vs. East Eagles

The Batavia Blue Devils will head out to square off against the East Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Batavia sitting on three straight victories and East on 12.

Batavia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 win over Sutherland.

Meanwhile, East got the win against Rochester Prep on Friday by a conclusive 81-57. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 24 points or more this season.

East pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.8 points. As for Batavia, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
