If Lone Peak wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lehi, they should've done a better job of containing Ty Reynolds. The Pioneers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights on Tuesday thanks in part to Reynolds, who had nine digs and three aces. He has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 40 times he's played.
Lehi got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 31-29, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18.
Lehi's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Lone Peak, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehi will head out to take on Skyridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lone Peak, they will venture away from home to square off against Westlake at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
