Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Angie Gonzalez: she recorded her first sack on Wednesday and we're guessing she's looking for more. She also made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) as Lathrop took down Sierra 2-0. We hope Gonzalez's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Gonzalez and Lathrop are on the road again on Monday to play Pacheco at 6:00 p.m. The Spartans are a perfect 3-0 against the Panthers going back to September of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
