The Basha Bears will face off against the Perry Pumas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Basha is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Basha is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Desert Vista, who was ranked 14th at the time (Basha was ranked third). The Bears fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Basha saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Bragg, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Perry suffered their closest loss since April 7th on Saturday. They fell just short of Queen Creek by a score of 5-3.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Basha, their loss dropped their record down to 23-5-1.

Basha came out on top in a nail-biter against Perry when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 8-7. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Pumas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
