Volleyball Recap: Victoria West Comes Up Short

Victoria West saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Montgomery Bears by a score of 2-1.

Kennedy Marriott was a one-woman wrecking crew For Montgomery. as she had 23 digs and two aces. Those 23 digs gave Marriott a new career-high.

Victoria West's defeat dropped their record down to 20-2. As for Montgomery, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victoria West will head out to take on Goliad at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montgomery, they will venture away from home to challenge West Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
