 There's no place like home for Columbia, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They blew past the Troy Flying Horses 7-1. That's more bragging rights for Columbia, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Andrew Gabriel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  John DelGrosso, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and four  RBI.  Ethan King was another key contributor,  going 1-for-1 with a  home run.
 Columbia is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record  this season. As for Troy, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-12.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will take on Albany Academy for Boys at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Troy, they will be playing at home against Schalmont at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
