Softball Recap: Forrest Has No Trouble Against Columbia Academy

Forrest never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Columbia Academy on Monday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-4 victory. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in March, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Forrest's record is now 7-4. As for Columbia Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forrest will take on Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Academy, they will challenge Providence Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The LIONS have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.14 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
