Volleyball Recap: Bamberg-Ehrhardt Takes Down Bethune-Bowman in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bamberg-Ehrhardt had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Red Raiders not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1st (when they won 3-0).

Bamberg-Ehrhardt never let Bethune-Bowman on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 26-24.

Briaunjenai McMillan paced Bamberg-Ehrhardt's offense, picking up 11 kills. McMillan got some help from Raelynn Jarrett and her 12 assists.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. As for Bethune-Bowman, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Bamberg-Ehrhardt will challenge Johnsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethune-Bowman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
