Volleyball Recap: Cedar Vale/Dexter Takes a Loss

Cedar Vale/Dexter had taken Central down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Spartans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 21, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Cedar Vale/Dexter started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Cedar Vale/Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 13-16-4.

Cedar Vale/Dexter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against South Haven on the 11th. As for Central, they will square off against Classical on Thursday.
