Watauga had won five straight home games and Caroline Childers did her part to make it six on Thursday. The Pioneers blew past the South Caldwell Spartans 3-0 with plenty of help from Childers, who had 19 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Watauga was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-13.
Watauga's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for South Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
