Softball Game Preview: Lancaster Catholic Crusaders vs. Camp Hill Lions

The Lancaster Catholic Crusaders will challenge the Camp Hill Lions at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lancaster Catholic has three straight victories, Camp Hill has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Lancaster Catholic made easy work of J.P. McCaskey and carried off a 14-4 win. Fans of the Crusaders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Meanwhile, Camp Hill lost 13-3 to Tulpehocken on Wednesday.

Payton Beck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Oyster, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lancaster Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Camp Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
