Volleyball Recap: Chrisman's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Chrisman unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Watseka Warriors by a score of 2-1. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chrisman actually scored more points across those three sets (73-64), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 12-25, 27-25.

Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Watseka, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chrisman will face off against rival Oakwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Watseka is set to take on their familiar foe Schlarman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
