Basketball Recap: Cape May County Tech Takes a Loss

Cape May County Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Oakcrest Falcons 68-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-32 on January 9th.

Cape May County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Oakcrest, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-9.

Cape May County Tech will face off against Absegami at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Absegami will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Cape May County Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oakcrest, they will square off against Vineland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakcrest knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Vineland likes a good challenge.
