Football Game Preview: Babylon Panthers vs. Miller Place Panthers

Babylon will face off against Miller Place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Babylon sitting on seven straight victories and Miller Place on four.

Babylon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Shoreham-Wading River 56-20. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Miller Place strolled past Port Jefferson with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 32-14. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Royals are ranked 390th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miller Place's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Babylon, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Babylon was dealt a bruising 43-14 defeat at the hands of Miller Place in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Miller Place's Shane Kiernan, who threw for 421 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.
