West Plains waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Glen Rose Tigers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Plains to victory, but perhaps none more so than Idaly Sotelo, who had nine digs and six assists. Those six assists gave Sotelo a new career-high. CC Murillo was another key player, getting nine digs and four assists.

West Plains now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Glen Rose, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

West Plains and Glen Rose could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Wolves will take on Frenship at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (433 vs. 99). Meanwhile, Glen Rose (ranked 153rd) will meet Springtown (ranked 11th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
