Baseball Recap: Clovis East Takes a Loss

Clovis East fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Clovis West on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Clovis East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Clovis West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

While Clovis East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
