Basketball Game Preview: Watertown Arrows vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders

The Watertown Arrows will head out on the road to square off against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Watertown took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-37 victory over Jefferson.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt strolled past Brookings with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 45-31. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rough Riders.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Watertown, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Watertown took their win against Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 50-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Watertown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
