Basketball Recap: Goshen Takes a Loss

Goshen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 40-27 to the Zion Chapel Rebels. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Goshen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Zion Chapel, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Goshen has already played their next game (against Pike Liberal Arts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Zion Chapel will take on Luverne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Zion Chapel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
