Van Horn won the last time they faced Fort Hancock and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Van Horn had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 26-24.

Van Horn's victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Fort Hancock, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Van Horn will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
