Basketball Game Preview: Transit Tech Express vs. Bedford Academy Panthers

The Transit Tech Express will face off against the Bedford Academy Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Transit Tech will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Tuesday, Transit Tech humbled Grand Street Campus with an 88-60 victory. The Express have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Bedford Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were outmatched by Achievement First and fell 94-58. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the N/A are ranked 119th).

Transit Tech's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.2 points per game. As for Bedford Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.
