Football Recap: Dothan Skates Past Russell County with Ease

While Dothan put up some points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Russell County. The Wolves claimed a resounding 31-0 victory over the Warriors. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Dothan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points this season. As for Russell County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dothan will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Russell County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smiths Station at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
