Football Recap: R-S Central Takes a Loss

R-S Central dropped to 5-5 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the East Rutherford Cavaliers, falling 38-14. The game marked the Hilltoppers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although R-S Central took the loss, they still got scores from Elijah Guzman and Elmer Littlejohn.

As for East Rutherford, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points on average over those games.

It was another big night for Brandon Pinkerton, who rushed for 181 yards and five TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 114 rushing yards.

As of now, neither R-S Central nor East Rutherford have any future games scheduled.
