Gaither won the last time they faced Durant and things went their way on Friday too. The Cowboys blew past the Cougars, posting a 43-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gaither to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Browning, who threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Ryan Hamilton was in the mix too, providing the Cowboys with three TDs.

Gaither's run defense was locked in: Durant could only muster three yards per carry. While one picked up at least six total tackles, Jacob Aquino stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss). Gaither didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.3.

Gaither didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Hamilton, Curtis Williams, and Earl Keaton picked up one apiece. Hamilton got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Gaither now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Durant, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Gaither will challenge Steinbrenner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Durant, they will square off against Armwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
